Aruba’s own indie/alt-rock band activemirror. has been officially invited to perform at Music Matters Live (Sept. 26–29, 2025) in Singapore — Asia’s largest international music showcase — and to participate in the All That Matters conference, where global industry leaders, labels and media converge.
This marks the first time an Aruban band has been selected for both platforms. The band, who recently represented Aruba at NXNE in Toronto, will now carry the island’s name onto the world stage again — shifting the narrative of what Aruba exports from just beaches and tourism to culture, creativity and music.
“Being invited to both Music Matters Live and All That Matters in Singapore is beyond an honour — it’s history for Aruba,” said Amal Farhat, the band’s manager. “We’re stepping into a global conversation about music, and Aruba deserves to be heard in it.”
